Ideally, if labels are wound out initially, they should be rewound out and if they were wound in initially, they should be rewound in.

DRS-2000 Desktop Rewind Station

As a label applicator and rewinder, the DRS-2000 Label Rewinder is the perfect solution for off-line Desktop Rewinding. It allows you to quickly wind labels anywhere, roll to roll, at a maximum speed of 24" per second. It comes standard with 2 sets of 3" core holders on 12" outer diameter disks. The optional counter is designed to count labels or tags by sensing the gap or reflective eye mark. The deluxe model comes with 2 extra sets of 12" disks that provide you with the ability to break 3" core rolls into 1.5" or 1" cores. The DRS-2000 is also an excellent tool for splicing small rolls into 1 large roll. The DRS-2000 is the ideal product for any custom orders or rewinding sequences of bar code labels.

MC-10A & MC-11 "MINI-CAT" Label Rewinders

The popular MINI-CAT Label Rewinders are the world’s lowest-price Label Rewinders. They are capable of rewinding label rolls up to 4 1/2 -inches wide (5-inches for MC-11), up to 8.6-inches in diameter at speeds up to 10-ips (inches per second). The MINI-CATs can also be used as Label Unwinders. The MINI-CAT-10A (MC-10A) has a 3-inch diameter core holder. You can also use the included “coreless rewind” feature to rewind directly on-shaft. The MINI-CAT-11 (MC-11) includes a precision-crafted Adjustable Core Holder that adjusts in seconds to accept any core diameter from 1-inch to 4-inches (25- to 102-mm). The MC-11 will also do coreless rewinding.
